Associate Professor David Reilly is the Director of the Quantum Nanoscience Laboratory at the University of Sydney where he leads a Group of 7 Ph.D students and 3 postdoctoral research fellows. The focus of his research is the development of enabling technology to control condensed matter systems at the quantum level. Reilly's niche is the interface between fundamental quantum science research and technical solutions that typical involve microwave electronics, cryogenics, nanofabrication, and engineering expertise. Before his appointment at Sydney, A/Prof Reilly was a research fellow in Physics at Harvard University, USA. His Ph.D is in Physics from the University of New South Wales, Australia.
