Dr Elliot Eklund

Elliot is a postdoctoral research fellow in A/Professor Ivan Kassal's lab at the University of Sydney. His work aims to develop and study methods for simulating chemical dynamics on digital quantum computes. In particular, he is interested in chemical systems which undergo fast dynamics such as photodissociation.

BS, University of Wisconsin - Madison, USA (2016) Worked with Professor Martin Zanni studying protein dynamics using two-dimensional infrared spectroscopy (2D-IR).
PhD, Cornell University, USA (2022) Under the supervision of Professor Nandini Ananth, he developed path integral methods for simulating chemical systems with non-adiabatic dynamics.
