Russell Manfield

Russell Manfield is a Lecturer in Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneur in Residence at the University of Queensland Business School. He holds a PhD in organizational capabilities and Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical), both from the University of Queensland. He currently teaches at range of entrepreneurship and innovation subjects at UQ Business School, supervises postgraduate research projects while maintaining his engagement with some early-stage enterprises. Over the past 25 years he has founded 6 new ventures across engineering, telecommunications and consulting disciplines and now applies his research to exploring organisational capabilities in emerging firms, tools for navigating uncertainty (with quantum technologies a particular focus) and the foundations of organisational resilience under adverse conditions. He has some publications across these research themes and seeks to apply his insights to his teaching in entrepreneurship & innovation.
