Dr. Felix Miranda

AI Miranda is Chief of the Antenna and Optical Systems Branch at the NASA Glenn Research Centre, and Deputy Chief of the Communications and Intelligent Systems Division. He leads a large research and development team with facilities that support NASA Mission Directorates, as well as low Technology Readiness Level (TRL) research and commercial technology transfer programs. He has expertise in antenna technology, high transition temperature superconductors, thin lm and microwave components, ferroelectric tuneable microwave components, and microwave integrated circuits and devices for space and ground-based communications.

AI Miranda will work with CI Bowen on quantum-enabled diagnostics and imaging. AI Miranda will help to identify technologies developed within the Centre that are relevant to aerospace, and provide guidance on the translation into real world outcomes. AI Miranda will provide the Centre’s researchers with access to a range of test, measurement, and characterisation facilities within NASA Glenn.
